I soon realize that these new cells are a condensed version of the biology courses I took at the time, a merry melting-pot of synapses, cells, atoms and molecules, with the occasional head, body or plant, often expressive.

Then I decided to draw shadows that would contain my cells. Shadows contain many things. They are alive. You’ll find three of them following the two cells.
